Mat Pilates
Build a Core That Supports Your Life, Not Just Your Workday.
For the modern professional, "core strength" is often the missing link between temporary relief and a permanent fix. While Corrective Stretching opens up the tight areas, mat pilates provides the strength and stability required to keep them open.

My approach to mat pilates is rooted in the classical method but modernized for the "desk-bound" body. We focus on controlled, precise movements that reinforce your posture, protect your spine, and create a resilient strength that carries you through your day.
Why Mat Pilates?
1. Postural Powerhouse
Sitting for hours causes the deep stabilizers of the spine to "switch off," leading to the dreaded mid-day back ache. Pilates re-educates these muscles, teaching your body how to maintain an upright, open posture effortlessly.

2. Low-Impact, High-Intensity
We don't need heavy weights to build a strong body. Using your own body weight and the principles of resistance, we build muscle that supports your joints without adding unnecessary stress.

3. The Mind-Body Connection
Pilates is a moving meditation. By focusing on the breath and the precision of every movement, we help calm the nervous system and reduce the mental "noise" of a high-stress career.

The MastroStretch Difference
I integrate my Corrective Resistance techniques into every Pilates session. This means we aren't just doing "crunches"—we are strategically strengthening the specific muscles that sitting has weakened (like your deep abdominals and glutes) while ensuring your neck and shoulders remain relaxed and tension-free.
Body-Positive & Beginner-Friendly
You don’t need to be "flexible" or "fit" to start pilates. My sessions are a judgment-free zone where we modify every exercise to meet your body exactly where it is today. We celebrate what your body can do, focusing on progress, not perfection.
